Steve Runkle will lead the SOS group on a tour of the Civil War historic site at Hanover Borough in York County, PA.

The group will visit locations where significant events took place during the Confederate invasion of Pennsylvania in June 1863.

This tour explores the accidental cavalry engagement at Hanover that prevented Jeb Stuart from joining Robert E. Lee in time for the Battle of Gettysburg.

The little known and often misunderstood Battle of Hanover is a must for Civil War buffs and those interested in unusual happenings.

Everyone planning to go on the trip should meet in the church parking lot at 9 AM.

Lunch will be at Hoss's Restaurant in Hanover.

The group will return to the church by 3 PM.
